The streets of San Diego will run red on the season premiere of "The Devils Ride," but there's only so much crimson to go around as far as the rival biker gangs are concerned.
To the untrained eye, it's hard to tell the nearly-matching Laffing Devils and Sinister Mob Syndicate apart. In an exclusive sneak peek, the Devils try to find a way to solve the problem.
"The jokers want to come in here and star wearing these (expletive) colors like it ain't no thing," said loyal Devil Robert "Sandman" Johnston, who some may remember for his recent arrest for attempted murder.
But as far as Sandman and his pals are concerned, it definitely is a thing -- "a (expletive) big (expletive) thing" in fact.
As the rival gangs faced off in the street, one Devil, who goes by the name White Boi, decided that he didn't just want to "argue like women" any more and would rather "take it back to the cowboy days." And faster than you could say "giddyap," the taunts and posturing gave way to shoving, punching and -- once Sandman really got mad at one Mobster in particular -- knife-pulling.
No telling how far things might have gone if a police car hadn't hit the scene, but Sandman had an idea about that.
"That was my get-out-of-jail," Sandman said about the well-timed police presence. "That was (the other guy's) get-out-of-the-morgue."
See what other trouble awaits the gangs when the season premiere of "The Devils Ride" airs on Feb. 18 at 10 p.m. on Discovery.
